Looking to pivot into a more high-tech and strategic opportunity
Results-driven professional with 2-3 years of experience in high-tech, client-facing roles, where I excelled in understanding and addressing complex client needs and challenges. Utilizing my degree in Management Information Systems from Binghamton University and self taught analysis skills, I offer a strategic, data-driven approach to customer success. Ready to leverage my unique blend of people skills with my aptitude in translating data insights into actionable decisions to ensure enhanced client satisfaction and impact business outcomes.
At a young age I was always passionate about numbers and problem solving. As I matured I began to develop a passion for strategy and business as well. This led me to begin my educational career at Binghamton University’s School of Management with an initial focus in finance.
In my sophomore year, I began working for a startup based out of Binghamton called Bandalier, in order to gain some experience in the professional world. Bandalier would hire entry level talent and outsource them to their tech startup partners to work in client facing roles such as sales, customer success, and client services. Upon getting hired I was placed as a client service representative with their new partner (and largest at the time) BlockFi, which was a rapidly growing cryptocurrency financial services company. Working with them, I explored and was exposed to so much innovative technology which sparked my newly found passion for tech and launched a massive shift in my career goals.
I decided to switch my concentration in school to Management Information Systems where I took a multitude of exciting classes such as Systems Analy. & Specification, Essentials of Programming, Web Application Development, Blockchain Tech & Applications and Web Mining/Soc Network Analysis. In these classes I developed a strong foundation in various technologies and programming tools and even self taught additional tools on my own time to build upon them.
In December of 2022, I had successfully graduated and was eager to jump into the real world and begin my post-grad career. I could not wait to begin working and put off my tech dreams to get some real world experience as a funding specialist for an MCA/business loan brokerage in order to get on my feet. In this role I learned a lot of things, especially sharpening my client-facing skills but after 1 year I was ready to take the leap needed to pursue my passion of working in tech.
To do this, I took some time off to brush up on the tools and technical skills I have already built a foundation of and even completed the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate course on Coursera to connect all of the dots and put my skills to the test. Since then I have developed this portfolio as well as exploring various case studies/projects as I eagerly look for an entryway into a long lasting career in a high-tech environment.
With my diverse set of experience and skillset, I believe I have the necessary tools to not only effectively work with and analyze data, but also the soft skills necessary to act on my findings to solve real world business problems with a client-centric perspective.
